GoSBA’s 100 Top SBA Lenders Of 2018

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of the United States. Part of these duties and responsibilities includes overseeing the SBA loan programs.

GoSBA Loans is proud to announce the 2018, top 100 SBA banks providing SBA loans throughout the United States. SBA approved over 68,000 loans in the 7(a) and 504 loan programs in 2017. These programs provided over $30 billion to small businesses. Loan origination in 2018 is already stated to be significantly higher and is expected to reach $35 billion. Nearly 30% of all SBA loans are currently made to startups launching businesses and 70% are made to existing businesses.

One of the biggest challenges that small businesses face is access to affordable financing. Top lenders signing SBA-backed loans in the United States include some of the larger banks like Wells Fargo, JP Morgan as well as some smaller players, including Celtic Bank, Compass Bank, Independence Bank and TD Bank. Unfortunately, these banks have some of the more stringent underwriting requirements. Most small businesses are better off speaking with smaller and more aggressive SBA lenders. Applicants that apply for a SBA loan with GoSBA loans benefit from automatic circulation of their loan application to 33 of the 100 top SBA lenders in the United States. Here is our GoSBA’s official ranking for the 100 Best SBA Lenders In 2018.
